Responsible tourism
Be patient and respectful. Dress conservatively. It is acceptable to swim in the river when the beach is exposed in the dry season, but bikinis will draw a crowd. It is normally fine to take photos, but polite to ask “saum taut muy?”. Please bring your litter back.

Cautions
The ferry has no life preservers. Do not approach or play with dogs. There are no toilets, but it is acceptable to step into riverside bushes to make a pee.
